Grace Wood is an intern for EAT SMARTER during the fall of 2020. She is a senior at Pepperdine University studying Journalism and Hispanic Studies. She also writes for the Pepperdine student newspaper, the Graphic, as well as the student magazine which is called Currents. Grace is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma but has been living in Malibu, California for the past few years. She is passionate about exercise, yoga, and healthy living and is very excited about what she can contribute to EAT SMARTER!

Despite summer being over, October remains a great month for seasonal fruits and vegetables. Cooler fall weather makes way for everything from cabbages to beets, grapes, butternut squash, and of course the all mighty pumpkin to be in season.
