- Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes
- 40 grams butter
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 1 day-old White roll
- 150 milliliters milk
- 500 ground pork
- 2 Tbsps scallions
- 2 small Goat cheese (Crottins de Chavignol)
Preparation steps
1.
Peel, rinse and thinly slice potatoes. Arrange the potato slices in 4 circles of about 12 cm (approximately 5-inch) diameter on a greased baking sheet. Melt 1/2 of the butter and brush on the potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Bake in preheated 180°C (approximately 350°F) oven for 15 minutes. Remove potatoes from oven and increase oven temperature to 240°C (approximately 475°F).
2.
Meanwhile, soak the bread in milk, then squeeze out excess milk. Mix bread with minced meat, chives, salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties. Cook in the remaining butter for about 5 minutes on each side.
3.
Cut the cheese in half crosswise. Place meatballs on the center of the potato circles and top with a goat cheese round. Bake about 8 to 10 minutes.
