- 1 can Sauerkraut Drained (520 grams or approximately 1 pound)
- 1 onion
- 3 scallions
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 150 milliliters Broth
- 200 grams cream cheese
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- Caraway
- 400 grams Leberkäse
- 8 Tortillas
- Fat (for greasing the pan)
- 100 grams grated Gouda
- 2 Tbsps scallions
Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).

Drain the sauerkraut. Peel the onion and chop finely. Rinse the scallions and cut into small rings.

Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté onion and scallions in it. Add the sauerkraut and the broth. Braise everything for about 3 minutes, then season with salt, pepper and cumin. Place the leberkase in the tortillas, then spread the sauerkraut mixture over the top of the sausage and roll up. Place in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese and bake about 15 minutes. Serve sprinkled with chopped chives.
