Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C top and bottom heat Preheat.

Butter small, ovenproof ramekins and rub with a peeled and halved garlic clove. Cut bacon into 4 cm (approximately 1 1/2 inch) long pieces. Peel, rinse and slice potatoes. Rinse rosemary, shake dry and pluck off leaves.

Spread potatoes and bacon in ramekins. Season cream with salt, pepper and nutmeg, add rosemary and pour mixture over potatoes. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 25-30 minutes.

Rinse meat, pat dry, season with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and cook steaks with remaining sprig of rosemary for about 3 minutes per side. Remove from pan and let rest briefly. Arrange on plates and serve with gratin.
