4 Tbsps olive oil
4 rashers Bacon (or prosciutto)
2 cups frozen peas
1 Tbsp chopped thyme
2 sprigs Basil (leaves only)
½ cup Parmesan (shaved)

1 Cutting board, 1 Peeler, 1 Small knife, 1 Bowl, 1 Citrus juicer, 1 Tablespoon

Preparation steps

1.
Bring a large pan of salted water to a boil and cook the farfalle for 10 - 12 minutes or until cooked al dente.
2.
While the pasta is cooking, heat 2 tbsp of the oil in a pan and fry the bacon until crisp. Drain on kitchen paper and set aside.
3.
Cook the peas in a pan of boiling water for 5 minutes and drain well.
4.
Drain the pasta and stir in the bacon, peas, thyme, basil and remaining olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and served topped with the parmesan shavings.

Surprising a great recipe. Suggestions for improvement. Do not use whole basil leaves. Eat this recipe cold and add spices basil and thyme at the end as if leaves hit the hot pasta they turn almost black. For a milk allergy omit the Parmesan shavings.
