- 200 grams Broccoli
- 250 grams starchy potatoes
- 1 carrot
- 150 grams Celery root
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- ½ tsp fennel seeds
- ½ tsp Shrimp paste
- 4 centiliters Noilly Prat
- 800 Vegetable broth
- salt
- lemon juice
- cayenne pepper
- 200 grams Cocktail shrimp
- 1 Tbsp freshly chopped parsley (for garnish)
Preparation steps

Rinse, trim and cut broccoli into pieces. Peel potato, carrot, celery root, onion and garlic and cut all vegetables into cubes. In a pot, sauté prepared vegetables in hot oil, 1-2 minutes. Stir in fennel seeds and shrimp paste. Add Noilly Prat and broth and simmer about 20 minutes. Puree soup and strain through a sieve, pressing on solids. Bring soup to a boil and simmer a few minutes more or add additional hot broth until soup reaches desired consistency. Season with salt, lemon juice and cayenne pepper. Add shrimp and cook until warmed through.

Divide soup among bowls and serve garnished with parsley.
