24 ozs lean Ground beef
¾ cup Oats (or italian breadcrumbs)
½ cup onions (finely chopped)
2 eggs
¼ cup milk
2 cloves garlic cloves (minced)
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
½ tsp Black pepper
3 small, hard-boiled eggs
1 head Savoy cabbage
1 cup white onions (diced)
1 cup carrots (diced)
1 cup Celery (diced)

Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine the first 10 ingredients in a large bowl, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Divide mixture in half. Form 1/2 of the beef mixture into a loaf. Press down the middle to form a gully. Place the three hard boiled eggs end to end in the gully. Take the remaining beef mixture and continue forming the loaf.

Separate the leaves of cabbage and cook in boiling water for several minutes, until leaves begin to soften. Drain and wrap the meatloaf with several layers of cabbage leaves.

Line a roasting pan or large casserole dish with the diced onion, carrots and celery. Place the meatloaf on top of the vegetables.
5.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
