180 grams Dark couverture chocolate
1 egg
1 egg yolk
400 grams Whipped cream
also needed
400 grams Puff pastry dough (from the refrigerated section)

30 grams butter (melted)

Preparation steps

Chop the chocolate and melt in hot water bath or double boiler. Combine the egg and the yolk in a second bowl, then stir constantly over a hot water bath until fluffy and creamy. Slowly fold the melted chocolate into the egg mixture. Cover and chill in refrigerator for 2 hours.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Roll out the pastry on a floured work surface and cut out 4 circles about 20 cm (approximately 7-8 inches) in diameter.

Place the circles on a lined baking tray and brush the edges with melted butter. Place a handful of dried beans in the middle of each circle. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until done. Cool slightly, then remove the beans. Let the puff pastry cool completely, then fill with the cold chocolate cream and arrange the berries (previously read) on top. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
