8 Tbsps milk
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup Corn starch (scant)
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
3 ½ ozs Dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids)

1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Plate, 1 Fork, 1 Citrus juicer, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Immersion blender, 1 deep bowl

Preparation steps

1.
Beat the butter in a mixing bowl until creamy, then beat in the sugar and egg. Stir in the milk.

Sift in the flour, cornflour and cocoa stir until blended. Leave to stand for 30 minutes.
3.
Heat the oven to 190°C (170° fan) 375°F gas 5. Line 2 large baking trays with non-stick baking paper.
4.
Spoon the mixture into a piping bag with a 7mm| 3/8"fluted nozzle and pipe strips next to each other in 7cm-10cm|3"-4" lengths on the baking trays.
5.
Bake for about 10 minutes until golden. Cool on the trays for a few minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool completely.
6.
Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering (not boiling) water.
7.
Dip one side of the biscuits in the chocolate and place on non-stick baking paper to set.
