- 1 ½ cups unsalted butter
- 3 Tbsps light corn syrup
- 1 ½ cups light brown sugar
- 4 ½ cups rolled oats
- 6 Tbsps cocoa powder
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 140°C (120°C fan) 275°F gas 2. Butter a 17 x 28cm| 7" x 11" baking tin.

Melt the butter, syrup and sugar in a pan until melted but not hot.
3.
Stir in the oats and cocoa, mixing well.
4.
Press into the tin and smooth the top. Bake for 18-20 minutes until cooked in the centre but still moist. Cool completely in the tin then cut into squares.
