Preparation

Kitchen utensils

1 großer Stainless steel pot mit Deckel, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 kleine Bowl, 1 Citrus juicer

Preparation steps

1.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350F, gas 4.
2.
For the pastry: Mix the flour with the salt and sugar. Cut in the butter and gently knead to a dough, adding enough milk so the pastry is smooth but not sticky.
3.
Divide the pastry into 2 and roll out both pieces to 1 cm | 0.5" thickness. Butter the pan and line it with half of the pastry. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
4.
For the filling: Mix the apple pieces with the lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon and place them on the pastry base. Lay the second pastry piece over the apple. Press the edges together well.
5.
Bake the pie for approx. 40 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle with a little sugar and serve lukewarm.
