Dark chocolate is rich in cocoa solids, which contain compounds known as flavonolds. Flavanols have been shown to help lower blood pressure and cholesterol, improve cognition, and possibly lower the risk of diabetes. You should only eat it as a treat every once in a while because of the sugar content.
You can also substitute the teaspoon of orange juice with vanilla for a more subtle flavor.
