- 3 cups Bread flour
- 1 sachet easy blend Yeast
- 2 tsps salt
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tsps dried, mixed Fresh herbs
- 1 red chili pepper (seeds removed and finely chopped)
- ½ cup Parmesan (grated)
- 1 tsp red Food coloring
Preparation steps

Mix the flour, yeast and salt together then gradually add the water until you have a smooth and elastic dough. You may need to add more water.

Divide the dough into three equal pieces. Take one piece and mix in the herbs and chilli, kneading it until the herbs and chilli are well mixed in.

Take the second piece, mix in the parmesan and knead well. Take the third piece of dough and knead in the colouring until the dough is an even red colour.

Divide each ball of dough into about 10 pieces and roll them with your hands on a floured board into long, thin sticks. Place the sticks on a greased baking sheet, cover with a clean tea towel and set aside in a warm place for 30 minutes.
5.
Heat the oven to 200ºC (180º fan) and bake the breadsticks for 15 - 20 minutes or until crisp. Let the breadsticks cool then carefully remove from the baking sheet.
