- thinly sliced, leftover Roast beef (or steak)
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- ½ shredded White cabbage (sliced)
- 1 Red onion (sliced)
- 1 clove crushed garlic cloves
- ⅜ cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 red Apple (cored and thinly sliced)
- lemons (juiced from one lemon)
- 2 Tbsps runny honey
Preparation steps

Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over a moderate heat. Sweat the onion for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened.

Add the garlic, cook for a further minute.

Add the red cabbage and cook for 5 minutes stirring continuously.

Add the apple and cook for 3 minutes, stirring continuously. Add the balsamic vinegar, lemon juice and honey and stir in.
5.
Spoon onto plates and serve with the cold roast beef
