3 Tbsps extra virgin olive oil
2 cups thinly sliced onions
kosher salt (to taste)
freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)
1 prepared pizza dough mix
cup Goat cheese (cut into thin slices)
½ cup Figs (quartered)
½ cup Artichoke hearts (quartered)
Dill (for garnish)

Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 350° F/ 175° C. In a large skillet, heat oil; add onions and cook, stirring, over medium-high heat until they are soft. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are golden brown around the edges, about 20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.

Roll out pizza dough to desired size. Using a fork, or prick the pizza. Place on a baking sheet and bake in preheated oven 5 minutes.

Remove from oven and top with the cheese, caramelized onions, figs and artichokes. Return pizza to oven and bake until light golden brown, about 10 minutes. To serve, garnish with fresh dill and let cool a few minutes before cutting.
