- For the dough
- 200 milliliters Whipped cream (at least 30% fat content)
- 4 eggs
- 400 grams Pastry flour
- 150 grams sugar
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- For topping
- 125 grams melted butter
- 150 grams sugar
- 4 Tbsps milk
- 1 Tbsp Instant coffee
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice
- 200 grams chopped, unsalted Peanuts
Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Whisk together the cream and egg. Mix the flour with the baking powder, sugar and vanilla sugar and fold into the egg-cream mixture. Pour the mixture on a lined baking pan and bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes.

In the meantime the mix the sugar with the milk, coffee, lemon juice and melted butter, then spread the mixture on top of the cake once it has baked for 20 minutes. Add the peanuts on top of that, and slide the cake back in the oven and bake again for about 15 minutes (or until a toothpick can be inserted and removed cleanly). Take the finished cake from the oven, let cool and serve cut into pieces.
