Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 180ºC (160º fan) 350ºF, gas mark 4. Grease and line a 450g/1lb loaf tin.

Melt the butter with the honey in a small pan. Sift the flour, baking powder and cinnamon into a large bowl then add the sugar. Mix the milk, eggs and bananas and add to the butter and honey. Pour into the dry ingredients, fold in with a metal spoon and pour into the tin.

Bake for about 45 minutes or until a knife inserted into the cake comes out clean.
4.
Heat about 4 tablespoons honey in a small pan and pour over the cake while it is still in the tin. Let cool and serve.
