80 grams butter
1 egg
100 grams Oats
80 grams cane sugar
1 packet Vanilla sugar
1 pinch salt
½ tsp Ground cinnamon
2 Tbsps Peanut butter
60 grams Pastry flour
60 grams chopped Peanuts
3 Tbsps Maple syrup

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

In a pan, melt butter and toast oats for about 3 minutes over medium heat. Remove from heat and let cool. Whisk egg with sugar, vanilla sugar, 1 pinch of salt and cinnamon until fluffy. Stir in peanut butter, flour, toasted oats and peanuts in succession.

Using a greased square pan 15x15 cm (approximately 6x6 inches), place in dough and flatten.

Bake in preheated oven until golden brown for about 12-15 minutes. Remove and let cool.

5.

Drizzle with maple syrup and cut into strips about 3 cm wide (approximately 1 inch). Cut these strips further into 6 cm (approximately 2-1/4 inch) diamonds. Sprinkle with granulated sugar to taste and serve.
