- 4 Sesame seed rolls
- 500 grams Beef (Hip or loin)
- 3 Tbsps olive oil
- 2 onions
- 2 Bell pepper (green and yellow)
- 4 centiliters Cognac
- 50 grams Chestnut mushroom
- 50 grams Blue cheese
- salt
- peppers (freshly ground)
- ground Caraway
Preparation steps
1.
Halve the sesame buns.

Rinse beef, pat dry and cut into strips.
3.
Peel and slice the onions into rings.
4.
Rinse peppers, cut in half, remove seeds and cut into thin strips.
5.
Wipe the button mushrooms with a damp paper towel and thinly slice.
6.
Heat oil in a skillet and cook the beef, onions and peppers until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper and add the caraway. Stir in the mushrooms and cook, while stirring, for 3-4 minutes. Add the cognac to taste. Divide the mixture between the buns. Garnish with crumbled blue cheese. Place the top on the bun and serve.
