Steak Sandwiches with Avocado

Steak is an excellent source of protein, keeping the body's bones healthy and strong, as well as vitamin B6, which supports metabolic function.
This dish pairs well with some fresh vegetables, giving you a more complete meal with added vitamins and minerals.

- 4 Radish
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 4 Tbsps olive oil
- salt
- 2 Sirloin steak (each 7-8 oz.)
- freshly ground peppers
- 4 slices Sourdough
- 2 Avocados
- coarse Sea salt
- 1 handful pea shoots (or arugula)
Preparation steps
Trim the radishes, rinse and cut into thin rings. Let stand for about 30 minutes in a bowl with the lemon juice, 2 tablespoons olive oil and some salt.
Rinse the steaks, pat dry and cook in a hot grill pan in the remaining oil on each side for 3-4 minutes (depending on the desired degree of cooking). Season with salt and pepper. Wrap in aluminum foil and let rest for 10 minutes.
Quickly toast the bread in the oven.
Cut the avocados in half, peel, core and cut the pulp into slices.
Cut the steak into slices, distribute on toast with avocado and radishes and sprinkle with sea salt. Serve garnished with the pea leaves.
