- ¾ cup Dry green Lentil
- 1 white onion (diced)
- 2 large carrots (peeled and diced)
- 2 potatoes (peeled and diced)
- 1 tsp marjoram
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- ⅓ tsp Black pepper
- 34 ozs water
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 handful parsley (chopped)
Preparation steps

Soak the lentils in a large bowl filled with water for 3 hours. Once soaked drain and rinse thoroughly.

Put all the ingredients in a large pot and cook everything over medium heat. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the lentils and vegetables are tender.
3.
Serve the soup with organic crackers or whole wheat bread and fresh herbs
