Preparation steps
Herbal teas can be put together as needed, purpose or taste. Here are some examples of different effects:
Hops Tea:
Hops Tea: Bring 250 ml (approximately 1 cup) of water to a boil. Add the hops, lemon balm and valerian and let stand 10 minutes. Pour through a sieve and sweeten to taste with honey.
The tea soothes stomach discomfort.
Melissa Peppermint Tea
Finely chop the herbs and in a small pot, boil with about 250 ml (approximately 1 cup) of water. Remove from the heat and let stand until flavorful, about 3 minutes. Strain through a sieve and sweeten with honey, if desired.
This tea helps with insomnia and nervousness, even in infants.
Energy tea
Place all the herbs in a pot and pour about 300 ml (approximately 10 1/2 ounces) of boiling water over and steep for 10 minutes, then strain and enjoy. This tea strengthens the immune system and relieves the first sign of a cold by its disinfecting and calming effect.
