Asian Cabbage Salad with Steak

- 1 Green cabbage (700 grams)
- salt
- 4 scallions
- 4 carrots
- 1 Red chili pepper
- 350 milliliters Coconut milk
- 2 Tbsps Lime juice
- 2 Tbsps sesame oil
- freshly ground peppers
- sugar (as needed)
- 500 grams Minute steak
- 1 bunch cilantro (approximately 20 grams)
- 20 grams butter
- 30 grams fresh Coconut
Preparation steps
Separate cabbage leaves, rinse, shake dry, remove hard stalk and cut leaves into strips. Mix cabbage pieces in a bowl with salt and leave for 1-2 hours. Meanwhile, rinse scallions, shake dry, trim and cut into rings. Peel carrots and cut into fine sticks. Rinse chile pepper, cut in half, remove seeds and ribs and cut into narrow strips.
Mix coconut milk in a bowl with lime juice and oil and season with salt, pepper and sugar. Drain cabbage and mix with remaining vegetables and coconut milk. Let rest in a cool place for at least 2 hours. Meanwhile, rinse meat, pat dry and cut into narrow strips.
Rinse cilantro, shake dry and pluck leaves off stems. Melt butter in a pan and fry meat strips on all sides and season with salt and pepper. Arrange salad in a bowl, place steak strips on top and garnish with a few coconut strips. Serve with cilantro leaves.
