Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the apples, cut out the core and some of the inside of the apple to create a hole for the stuffing. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Dice the flesh taken out and also sprinkle with lemon juice. Peel and halve the garlic cloves.

2.

Remove casing from the sausage and finely chop with the parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Stuff in the apples.

Place apples in a buttered baking dish and place a garlic clove inside each apple. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 15 minutes. 

4.

Serve warm with ketchup.
