1 cup gluten-free all purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)
½ cup grated, strong Cheese (e. g. cheddar, parmesan)
¼ cup unsalted butter
1 egg yolk
1 pinch salt
1 pinch freshly ground Black pepper
1 pinch cayenne pepper

1 Pot, 1 Small pot, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Peeler, 1 Large knife, 1 Ladle

Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Line 2 large baking trays with non-stick baking paper.

Blend the flour, cheese and butter in a food processor until it resembles fine crumbs. Add the salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.
3.
Add the egg yolk to the food processor and mix until it forms a soft ball. You may need to add a little water.
4.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface, about 8mm thick and cut out diamond shapes.
5.
Place the biscuits on the baking tray and brush lightly with water. Sprinkle with nuts or seeds of choice and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes until golden. Cool on the baking trays for a few minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool completely.
