12 large button Mushroom
1 cup cream cheese (with herbs)
100 grams streaky Bacon
1 Spinach
2 garlic cloves
olive oil
2 cups Whipped cream
lemons (juice)
freshly ground peppers
3 Tbsps finely chopped mixed Fresh herbs
fresh Basil

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Clean mushrooms well. Remove stems and finely chop. Finely dice the bacon and fry until crispy in a dry pan. Peel garlic and press into a bowl.

Rinse the spinach and finely chop. Add to the bowl with garlic. Add bacon, cream cheese and chopped mushroom stalks, season with salt and pepper, and stuff mixture into the mushroom caps.

Place mushrooms on an oiled baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes at 200°C (approximately 400°F). Mix creme fraiche with the lemon juice and herbs, season with salt and pepper and serve alongside the mushrooms. Garnish mushrooms with basil leaves before serving.
