Ingredients

For the dough
300 grams Pastry flour
3 tsps Baking powder
1 tsp salt
125 grams Quark
100 milliliters milk
100 milliliters olive oil
Pastry flour (for dusting)
For the filling
150 grams Feta
1 Tbsp olive oil
freshly ground peppers
dried thyme
For the topping
1 egg
2 Tbsps condensed milk
40 grams black Sesame seeds

Preparation steps

For the dough, mix flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Add quark, milk and oil. Mix with dough hook or hand mixer until smooth.

Preheat oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

On a floured surface, roll out dough about 30 x 40 cm (approximately 12 x 16 inches). Cut into 12 squares. Drain feta cheese and cut into small cubes. Spread feta evenly over dough. Brush dough with olive oil and sprinkle with pepper and thyme. Fold squares diagonally and press firmly into place. Place evenly on baking sheet. Whisk together egg and condensed milk and brush over dough. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake until golden brown for about 25 minutes.
