4 boneless, skinless Chicken breasts (halves)
vegetable oil
salt (to taste)
4 Tbsps water
3 Tbsps Ketchup
3 Tbsps brown sugar
2 Tbsps Vinegar
1 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 Tbsps Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Dry mustard
1 tsp Chili powder
2 cups cooked white rice

Preparation steps

Rinse chicken under cold running water and pat completely dry with paper towels. Coat chicken with oil and season to taste with salt.

Prepare grill for direct grilling and preheat to medium-high heat.

Meanwhile, in a small saucepan set over medium heat, combine water, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, dry mustard and chili powder. Simmer gently for 15 minutes.
4.
When ready to grill, brush grill grate lightly with oil. Arrange the chicken on the hot grill grate. Baste the chicken with barbecue sauce every few minutes and grill for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until cooked completely through.
5.
Serve on a bed of white rice with remaining barbecue sauce.
