200 grams Beef fillet
3 Tbsps vegetable oil

2 Red onions
1 jar Pickled cucumber (185 grams) (approximately 7 ounces)
150 grams lamb's lettuce
2 Tbsps White vinegar
2 tsps grated Horseradish (from a jar)
1 pinch sugar

Preparation steps

Thinly slice the beef. Place in a bowl, mix with 1 tablespoon oil and season with salt and pepper. Heat a large frying pan and sear the beef on both sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Peel the onions and thinly slice. Slice the pickles. Trim the mâche, rinse and spin dry. Whisk the vinegar, horseradish, sugar and remaining oil together. Add 1 tablespoon pickle brine and season with salt and pepper. Toss with the onions, pickles and lettuce and arrange on serving plates with the beef.
