4 garlic cloves
6 Tbsps sweet soy sauce
4 tsps Lime juice
8 Tbsps Fish sauce
1 tsp freshly ground peppers (white)
150 milliliters Broth
1 ½ tsps cornstarch
300 grams Beef (steak)
3 onions
50 grams almonds
50 grams raisins
4 Tbsps vegetable oil
400 grams thin Chinese Egg noodle
1 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Curry powder

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse chile peppers, remove seeds and cut into rings. Peel and finely chop garlic. Mix both with soy sauce, lime juice, fish sauce, broth and cornstarch.

Cut beef into thin slices. Add marinade, turn and let sit for about 30 minutes.

Soak raisins in warm water. Drain.

Peel the onions and cut lengthwise into strips.

5.

Heat oil in wok and fry onion for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Slide to the edge of the wok.

6.

Remove beef from marinade, drain and sauté gradually in the middle of the wok for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Slide to the edge of the wok.

7.

Pour the marinade into the wok, mix in almonds and soaked raisins, bring onions and beef back to center of the wok and briefly heat, stirring occasionally.

8.

Meanwhile, prepare noodles according to package directions, drain, mix with tumeric and curry. Serve with meat sauce.
