- Ingredients
- 1 scallion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp butter
- 400 grams Ground meat
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp sharp Mustard
- 1 Tbsp chopped thyme
- 1 Tbsp chopped rosemary
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 4 White rolls
- Fresh herbs (for garnish)
Preparation steps
1.
Rinse, trim and chop the scallion. Peel the garlic and finely chop. Sauté both in butter and then add to the ground meat in a bowl. Mix with egg, mustard and herbs and season with salt and pepper. Cut the lids off the rolls and scoop out the bread from the bottom halves.
2.
Pour the meat mixture into the hollowed-out bread and bake in an oven preheated to 160°C (approximately 325°F) convection/ 190°C (approximately 375°F) convention on the middle rack about 20-25 min. If they begin to brown too much cover with aluminum foil. Serve garnished with some herb sprigs.
