- 8 large Chard leaf
- 4 slices lean, cooked ham (about 120 grams)
- 4 slices middle aged Gouda (about 120 grams)
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 150 grams crushed Tomatoes (canned or packaged)
- 125 milliliters Beef broth (instant)
- 1 bunch Chives
- 2 Tbsps Herb creme fraîche
- salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 1 pinch sugar
- Food-safe craft stick
Preparation steps
1.
Rinse the chard leaves and cut out the hard stalk. Place two leaves one over the other and top with 1 slice of ham and Gouda cheese. Roll up the leaves and fix with craft stick.

Heat olive oil in a nonstick pan and fry the chard rolls over medium heat.
3.
Mix the crushed tomatoes with the beef broth and pour over the rolls. Cover the pan and cook for 10 minutes.
4.
Rinse the chives, shake dry and chop finely. Stir herb creme fraîche into the rolls and season with salt, pepper and sugar.
Slice the rolls and serve with the sauce and sprinkle with chives.
