Preparation steps

Break the eggs into a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix well with a whisk.

Melt some butter in a pan and let it foam up. Pour the eggs into the pan, gently tilting it to allow the mixture to run evenly. Shower with cheese.

Loosen around the edges and fold the omelet over so that it is doubled up.
