- 6 Chicken thigh
- 400 grams Chorizo (spicy pork and garlic sausages mixed)
- 100 grams Bacon (diced)
- 1 onion
- 1 can Diced tomatoes
- 300 milliliters Chicken broth
- 2 tsps sugar
- 1 large Sweet potato (about 500 grams)
- 1 can chickpeas
- 2 Tbsps parsley (cut into strips)
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- salt
- peppers
Preparation steps

Cut sausages diagonally into 1 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) thick slices. Rinse chicken legs, pat dry and season with salt and pepper. Peel sweet potato and cut into 2 cm (approximately 1 inch) cubes. Peel onion and cut into half-rings. Drain chickpeas. Heat oil in a large saucepan and cook chicken for about 5 minutes.

Add sausages and cook for another 5 minutes.. Add onion and bacon and saute together. Add all remaining ingredients, except parsley. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for about 30-40 minutes. Season stew with salt and pepper, arrange on plates and serve garnished with parsley.
