- 4 onions
- 2 each yellow and red Bell pepper
- 150 grams Bacon (sliced)
- 4 Chicken legs
- salt
- freshly ground pepper
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- 250 grams tomato puree
Preparation steps
1.
Peel onions and cut into rings. Rinse and halve peppers, remove seeds and ribs and chop. Cut bacon into strips.

Rinse chicken legs, pat dry and season with salt, pepper and thyme. Cook bacon in a pan until crispy. Remove from pan. Fry chicken in the bacon fat remaining in the pan. Remove chicken from pan.

Add onions and peppers to pan and cook about 5 minutes. Add tomato puree and season to taste. Return chicken legs to the pan. Cover and simmer about 40 minutes. Stir bacon into sauce, season to taste and serve.
