Chicken Stewed in Wine

- 1 chicken (ready to cook, 1.2 kg)
- 10 Plum tomato
- 2 stalks Celery
- 4 small Zucchini flower
- 1 can Kidney beans (400 grams)
- 300 grams shallots
- 2 garlic cloves
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 200 milliliters dry white wine
- 300 milliliters Chicken broth
Preparation steps
Rinse chicken, pat dry and cut into 8 pieces. Rinse tomatoes. Rinse, trim and cut celery diagonally into 4 cm (approximately 1 1/2 inch) long pieces. Rinse zucchini blossoms, shake dry and remove stamens. Rinse kidney beans in a colander and drain well.
Peel shallots. Leave small shallots whole and cut large shallots into wedges. Peel garlic. Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper and sprinkle with flour. In a roasting pan, fry chicken in hot butter on all sides until golden-brown.
Add vegetables (with exception of beans), press garlic through a garlic press into pan and sauté everything briefly. Add wine. Stir in broth, season with salt and pepper and simmer 25-30 minutes over medium heat. Add beans, season to taste, and serve stew on warmed plates.
