- 1 red chili pepper
- 1 green chili pepper
- ½ cup Vietnamese coriander or cilantro (fresh coriander) leaves
- ½ cup fresh Thai basil (or basil)
- 2 garlic cloves
- ⅛ cup Rice vinegar
- 2 Tbsps soy sauce
- 0.333 cup Peanut oil
- salt
Preparation steps
1.
Rinse the chilis and slice in half lengthwise. Remove the ribs and seeds.
2.
Put the chilis, rau ram, basil, peeled garlic cloves, vinegar, soy sauce and half of the oil in a food processor and make a fine puree.
3.
Mix in the remaining oil and season with salt to taste.
