These chocolate almond slivers are super easy to make and together with the candied ginger they have a little surprise effect in taste! The almond slivers also provide cell-protecting vitamin E and bone-strengthening calcium. As the dark chocolate has a high cocoa content, the sugar content is correspondingly low. Certain plant substances from the cocoa keep the blood sugar level constant and prevent deposits in vessels.
If the chocolate almond slivers are prepared the day before, they can cool down overnight in the refrigerator in peace and quiet.

Ingredients
- (or foil wrappers, for chocolates)
- 100 grams Almond slivers
- 150 grams Dark couverture chocolate
- 2 Tbsps finely chopped, candied ginger
- 20 Baking cups (or foil wrappers, for chocolates)
Preparation steps
Toast the almonds in a dry pan. Melt the crushed chocolate in hot water bath. Stir the almonds and ginger and set with two teaspoons of the mixture into the ramekins. Chill in a refrigerator if desired.
If desired garnish with the sugared star of candied ginger or sprinkle with sugar.
