Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the apples with hot water, dry, and twist off the stems. Insert 4" long sticks into the apples in place of the stems.

2.

Coarsely chop the hazelnuts and almonds. Break the chocolate into small pieces and melt over a hot water bath. Dip the apples approximately 3/4 of the way into the chocolate and sprinkle with the nuts. Allow to cool on baking paper before serving.
