- For the dough
- 100 grams soft butter
- 130 grams sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 5 eggs
- 100 grams grated Dark chocolate
- 2 packets Chocolate pudding powder
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 100 grams Pastry flour
- 80 grams ground almonds
- butter (for the mold)
- For decoration
- 200 grams Cake icing (2 packets)
- 100 grams slivered almonds
Preparation steps

For the dough: Beat butter with sugar until creamy.

Combine eggs, grated chocolate, salt, custard powder, baking soda and flour. Mix into the butter mixture and stir to a smooth dough. Then fold in ground almonds.

Grease venison form with butter and spread in the dough.
4.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 40 minutes. Remove from oven and turn out cake carefully onto a cooling rack and allow to cool.
5.
Cut cake smoothly on bottom for a level surface.
6.
For decoration: Spread cake with icing according to package information then garnish with almonds and serve.
