175 grams Pastry flour
½ tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
125 grams softened butter
60 grams sugar
60 grams light brown sugar
1 drop vanilla extract
2 eggs
75 grams semi-sweet Chocolate chip

Preparation steps

1.

Combine the flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl and mix well. Beat the butter, sugar and brown sugar in a separate bowl until light and creamy. Add the vanilla and the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the flour mixture and mix until smooth. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Drop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet by the spoonful about 5 cm (approximately 2 inches) apart. 

4.

Bake for 12-14 minutes, until golden brown around the edges and soft in the center. 

5.

Remove from the oven, cool briefly on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
