¼ l strong, hot Coffee
1 Vanilla bean
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
20 ozs Almond milk

Preparation steps

1.

Combine sugar with 1 cup of water in a saucepan, bring to a boil and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and add coffee. Slit vanilla pod lengthwise, scrape out seeds and add to coffee mixture. Add cocoa and mix well. Cool.

Strain mixture through a sieve into a shallow metal tray and freeze for at least 4 hours. Stir every 30 minutes to prevent ice crystals from forming. 

3.

Place granita into glasses and top with almond milk.

Serve with brioches, if desired.
