- 3 carrots (diced)
- 1 potato (diced)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 8 ozs Broad bean
- 1 cup sweet Corn (kernels)
- 4 Tbsps Worcestershire sauce
- ½ Tbsp ground, dry bay leaves
- 1 tsp Celery salt
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp Celery seed
- ¼ tsp grated Nutmeg
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- 1 pinch ground cloves
- 1 pinch ground Mace
- 1 pinch ground Cardamom
- 1 pinch ground allspice
- 1 Tbsp mustard powder
- 1 pinch crushed Red pepper flakes
- 25 ozs canned Tomatoes
- 4 cups water
- 16 ozs fresh, lump Crabmeat
- salt
- freshly ground Black pepper
Preparation steps
1.
Put all the ingredients except the crabmeat, salt and pepper into a large pan.

Bring to a boil, stirring, then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
3.
Add the crabmeat to soup and simmer for a further 45 minutes, stirring frequently. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
