- 14 cups potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold)
- ¾ cup butter at room temperature (plus extra for baking dish)
- 1 cup cream cheese (at room temperature)
- ⅔ cup half and half cream
- Seasoned salt (to taste)
- freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)
Preparation steps

Peel potatoes and rinse in cold water. Cut potatoes into quarters and place in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until just done, about 15 to 18 minutes. Drain well; return potatoes to the saucepan and place on stove burner on low heat and mash the potatoes.

Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350º F / 180º C. Grease a baking dish with butter.

Remove potatoes from heat source and add in the softened butter and cream cheese. Next add the half-and-half and season to taste with salt and pepper. Mash once again.

Arrange the mashed potatoes into a greased baking dish. Cover the dish with aluminum foil. Bake
