200 grams Crème fraiche
2 Tbsps Whipped cream (at least 30% fat content)
freshly ground peppers
freshly grated Nutmeg

60 grams grated Cheese (such as cheddar)

Preparation steps

Cook the eggs in boiling water for about 8 minutes, then peel, halve and place in 4 ovenproof bowls. Rinse the spinach and spin dry. Mix the creme fraiche and whipping cream together until smooth. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Preheat the oven's broiler to low. Layer the spinach over the eggs and spoon the creme fraiche mixture on top. Mix the grated cheese with the breadcrumbs and sprinkle evenly over the top. Place the bowls on a baking sheet and under the preheated broiler. Broil for about 10 minutes, until the spinach is wilted and the cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
