Preparation

Kitchen utensils

1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Peeler, 1 weiter Pot mit Deckel, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Large knife, 1 Slotted spoon, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Bowl, 1 Non-stick pan (24 cm Ø), 1 Slotted spatula, 1 Ladle, 1 Fork, 1 Aluminum foil

Preparation steps

1.
Wash and dry the chicken drumsticks. Mix the oil with the garam masala, salt, honey and cayenne pepper and brush the chicken with the mixture. Cook in a preheated oven (180°C/350°F) under the broiler for about 30 minutes, turning occasionally.
2.
Meanwhile wash the rice, put into a pan with the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
3.
Peel and chop the shallots and add to the rice.
4.
Peel and halve the mango and remove the pit. Dice the flesh and add to the rice after about 20 minutes. Then add the dates and continue cooking gently for 5-10 minutes more, until done. Season with the curry powder, salt and cayenne pepper. Finally stir in the chopped parsley and mint.
5.
Serve the chicken drumsticks in bowls on the rice and garnish with mint.
