4 Star anise
1 Cinnamon stick
½ Vanilla bean
50 milliliters Lime juice
2 Mangoes
2 Star fruit
40 grams Shelled pistachio

Preparation steps

1.

Heat 250 ml (approximately 1 cup) of water, the sugar, star anise, cinnamon stick, vanilla seeds and the lime juice. Boil for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly, until thick. Remove from the heat and let cool.

2.

Peel the mangoes and cut the flesh into strips. Rinse the star fruit and cut into 1/2 cm thick slices.

3.

Spread the fruit into four ramekins. Pour the syrup over the top. Sprinkle with pistachios and serve.
