- For the cupcakes
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup caster sugar
- ¼ cup cream (35% fat)
- ½ cup Ground meat
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp Nutmeg (freshly grated)
- 2 tsps sherry
- ⅛ cup butter (melted)
- To decorate
- 4 ozs white Marzipan
- red Food coloring
- green Food coloring
- powdered sugar

1 Teaspoon, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Cocktail shaker oder Schraubglas mit Deckel
Preparation steps
1.
For the cupcakes: heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Place paper cases in a 12 hole bun tin.

Mix the eggs and sugar together and beat in the cream. Gently stir in the mincemeat.

Sift in the flour, baking powder and spices and fold in until incorporated.

Stir in the sherry and butter until well mixed.
5.
Spoon the mixture into the paper cases and bake for 12-15 minutes until risen and springy to the touch. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool completely.
6.
For the decoration: divide the marzipan in half. Knead a few drops of red colouring into one half and green into the other half.
7.
Roll out the marzipan on a surface lightly dusted with icing sugar. Cut out stars with a small star shaped cookie cutter.
8.
Place the marzipan decorations on top of each cake and sift over a thick layer of icing sugar.
