- 16 ozs ready-rolled Puff pastry
- ¼ cup butter (melted)
- 3 Tbsps caster sugar
- 1 ⅔ cups double cream (whipped)
- Vanilla bean (from one pod)
- 1 ⅔ cups Strawberries (halved)
- ½ cup sliced almonds

1 Skillet, 1 Baking sheet, 1 Bowl, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Peeler, 1 Mortar, 1 Parchment paper, 1 Slotted spatula
Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 180ºC (160º fan) 350ºF, gas mark 4. Grease a baking sheet with a little melted butter.

Unroll the pastry onto the prepared baking sheet, brush with the remaining butter and sprinkle over the sugar. Bake in the oven for 12 - 15 minutes or until the pastry is risen and golden brown. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.

Carefully transfer the cooled pastry to a chopping board. Fold the vanilla seeds into the whipped cream and spread over the pastry. Arrange the strawberries on top, scatter over the almonds then carefully cut the pastry piece into 12 slices using a sharp knife.
