- 12 ozs Puff pastry
- 2 large, eating Apple (peeled, very thinly sliced)
- 4 Tbsps sugar
- 4 Tbsps unsalted butter (melted)
- 6 tsps honey
- To decorate
- powdered sugar
Preparation steps
1.
Line 2 baking trays with non-stick baking paper.

Roll out the pastry thinly between 2 sheets of non-stick baking paper. Cut out 6-8 small rounds. Place on the baking trays, cover and chill for 30 minutes.

Heat the oven to 200°C (180° fan) 400°F gas 6.

Arrange the apple slices on the pastry rounds, overlapping them and leaving a 4mm|1/4" plain border. Sprinkle the apples on each tart with sugar, then drizzle with melted butter.

Bake for about 20 minutes until the pastry is golden and the apples are tender. Drizzle with honey.
6.
Serve warm or at room temperature. Sift a little icing sugar over the top just before serving.
